By His Hands We Are Healed

This is a blog about healthcare written by followers of Jesus.  It is a reference to Isaiah 53:5:

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was on him, and by his wounds we are healed." 

This is the basis for our faith.

Our faith is the basis for our work. 

Our work is in healthcare and the practice of surgery.

Healthcare and specifically surgery, require healing hands.

All healing in healthcare and surgery comes from the hands of God.

This blog is written about healthcare from the viewpoint of experienced healthcare providers.  We are imperfect people.  But we are people who hope in the New Covenant with Christ. We are to represent His hands in the healing of the world until it is "on earth as it is in heaven."
